I am a person guided by integrity, compassion and a genuine commitment to serving others. As a finance and governance professional with more than three decades of experience across Albania and the United Kingdom, my work brings together financial analysis, public accountability, internal audit and community leadership.
My career began in finance operations at a Professional Education Centre supported by the Danish Government. I later spent thirteen years as an Auditor at Albania’s High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets and Conflicts of Interest, where integrity, confidentiality and clear judgement were central to my work.
After moving to the United Kingdom, I completed an MBA in International Management at Royal Holloway, University of London. I then spent eight years working in Financial Planning & Analysis at Optimizely Ltd, within a global digital business.
Alongside my professional career, I co-founded Empowered Women of Diaspora CIC and founded British Albanian Youth & Culture CIC. Through both organisations, I help develop programmes that strengthen women’s participation, youth opportunity, cultural connection and international cooperation.
I hold degrees in Finance-Banking and Law, an MSc from the University of Tirana, and certification in Internal Audit from Albania’s Ministry of Finance. I also serve as Assistant Treasurer of the Rotary Club of London and mentor Albanian students seeking internships and employment in the UK.
Albanian Through Lord Byron's Eyes London in 6 July 2026 at Shaw Theater
Why Lord Byron
Because Lord Byron became a bridge between Albania and Britain. More than two centuries ago, at a time when much of Europe knew little about Albania, he witnessed the character, courage, hospitality and dignity of the Albanian people. Through his words, Albania entered the British and European imagination not merely as a distant land, but as a nation of profound history, beauty and human values.
Project Albanian Through Lord Byron's Eyes Take place in Euston London in 6 July 2026 at Shaw Theater
Because he is a modern-day witness to the beauty of Albanian values a Briton who embraced Albania with his heart and became a proud citizen of Kosovo. Who better to bring Byron’s love for Albania back to life?
Conceived and developed by Alda Muskaj, who led the project’s development, institutional coordination and funding process.
The project was delivered through Empowered Women of Diaspora CIC (EWD) and British Albanian Youth & Culture CIC (BAYC), with the contribution and support of my project partner.

Project Learning Steeps by Doing Took place in London
Co-developed as an integrated project within Albania Through Lord Byron's Eyes London
Through Albanian music and traditional dance, Albanian and British participants came together one step, one rhythm and one shared experience. Movement became a bridge between cultures, bringing people closer without the need for words.

Learning the Steps by Doing was more than a dance workshop. It was an invitation to experience Albanian heritage not simply by watching, but by taking part.
Every movement carried a story, every rhythm created connection, and every shared step strengthened a sense of belonging. This is how heritage lives: when we open it to others, experience it together and pass it forward.
